19th Psalm: The heavens are telling of the glory of God; and their expanse is declaring the work of his hands…The law of the LORD is perfect (blameless), restoring the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether. They are more desirable than…much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them your servant is warned; In keeping them there is great reward…Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer.
Psalm 111: (Hallelujah! I will) Praise the LORD! I will give thanks to the LORD with all my heart… Great are the works of the LORD;...Splendor and majesty is His work, and His righteousness endures forever. He has made His wonderful acts a memorial; the LORD is gracious and compassionate…He will remember His covenant forever…The works of His hands are truth (faithfulness) and justice; all his precepts are sure (trustworthy). They are upheld forever and ever; they are performed in truth (faithfulness) and uprightness. He has sent redemption to His people; He has ordained (or commanded) His covenant forever: Holy and awesome (inspiring reverence) is His name…
1st John 1:7: But if we walk in the Light as He, Himself, is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, cleanses us from all sin.
1st John 3:23: This is His commandment, that we believe in the name (believe the name) of His Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us (gave us a commandment).
1st John 4:7ff: Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God…In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another…if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us…We love, because He first loved us…the one who loves God should love his brother also.
May God continue to bless us in our striving together to do His will and as we demonstrate our love for one another in everything we say and do! To Him be all the praise and glory for everything!
